Love Lip Gloss!

Now that you have those lips nice and smooth, it's time to put something on them! I prefer a good lip gloss!

Some of my favorite lip glosses are made by Jordana and they run about $1.99 each, how awesome is that!

I have a few of the older formula glosses and my favorites from that selection are Darling and Delightful. The new formula is just as awesome and I really like Gr8 (shown below) sold at Walgreens

Another gloss on the cheaper end but just as good as the Jordana glosses is E.L.F in Goddess which sells for a $1 (purchased at Target)

NYX also sells a huge range of glosses in so many colors and finishes that is so hard to choose just one. I happen to really enjoy the Mega Shine gloss in Perfect. The smell is beyond yummy and the color is so sweet and subtle! I am not 100% sure on the price but I believe it is around $5 and sold at Ulta or online at Cherry Culture.

Kissable Soft Lips ;)

There isn't much I hate more than nasty, crusty, dry lips! I keep a few lip balms near me at all times to prevent this but sometimes you need a little extra help! Time to exfoliate! Here are a few ideas and products I have come across on my quest for super soft lips.

My tried & true, Body Shop Lip Scuff. I have been using this stuff since I was 12! I love the amount of grit and the refreshing mint tingle it leaves behind. Pair this with EOS Sweet Mint balm and you will be in heaven! One the higher end side but it will last you forever!

Not a huge fan of mint? Lush has you covered with their lip scrubs that come in 3 different flavors!

Don't have the extra money for a special product? Totally ok! Just grab your toothbrush and gently scrub over your lips. Follow up with some Vaseline for a super low cost but super effective treatment!

Feeling all DIY? Try making your own lip scrub! YouTube has tons of videos showing different ways to do this!

I hope this has been helpful and you can find some relief with the above tips and products ;)

My Holy Grail Brow Products

I like a lot of other "Pale Princesses" have super light hair. This is a blessing when it comes to leg/arm hair but not so much for my brows. If I don't use a product I look like I have no brows at all! I have toyed around with the idea of dying them but I have heard a ton of horror stories about this. I have tried a few different brow products, even some brownish eye shadows and they all worked well enough. I decided last year to really set out and find a great brow definer, first stop was Sephora. The MUA sat me in her chair and went to town applying every kind of brow product she could find...gels, creams, powders, pencils. She swore I would love this brow gel by Anastasia of Beverly Hills, it was nice but I wasn't fond of the coloring. I asked if that brand had a pencil and she brought over the most amazing brow pencil I have found to date....

This is the Perfect Brow Pencil, comes with color on one end and a spoolie on the other. At $22 I was a little hesitant, but this pencil has lasted me so long and looks so natural! They staying power is pretty amazing too!

If you aren't comfortable spending $22 on a brow product, don't worry, Maybelline makes a great brow pencil!

The Define A Brow is a great alternative to pricey pencils and comes in a wide range of colors. The super fine point can help you create very natural looking brows! This pencil also comes with color on one end and a comb on the other.

Easy Fun Spring Mani

Spring is my favorite season and I love doing cute manis with Spring colors! Keep reading to see how I did this super easy mani with no special tools needed!

Choose a pretty pastel color (pink, lavender, yellow, baby blue, etc) I chose Sinful Colors in Pink Forever

Next you will need a white polish, I am using a bottle of nail art polish I picked up at the Dollar Tree.

Pour a small bit of the polish out on a flat surface (I am using an old notepad)

Use a #2 pencil to dot the polish on your nails. The sharper your pencil, the smaller your dots!

How simple was that!! Don't forget your toes!

I purchased each product shown above

Ulta Eye Shadow...Save Your Money!

The crap eye shadow award is going to.....Ulta brand shadows! Congrats Ulta on the most craptastic shadows I have ever paid my hard earned money on! On one Ulta trip I picked up a beautiful sea foam green color in the store and wow what a let down. The color pay-off was beyond bad and the staying power was even worse! I figured I just got a bad shadow so I picked up a super pretty purple during my next Ulta trip. Wow it was honestly worse than the first shadow! I had to go over with my brush a million times (felt like it!) and still hardly any color! Beautiful color in the package but a major let down when applied...what a tease :( So save your money and pick-up any other shadow available...trust me!

Sadly I paid for the products mentioned above and opinions are 100% my own!

EOS Smooth Sphere

There isn't much worse than chapped/crusty lips and I have found my holy grail lip balm! The EOS Smooth Sphere (my favorite is the Sweet Mint) is so darn cute and so easy to find in my purse! You can pick these up at pretty much any drugstore for about $3. I have been using mine for over 6 months now and have tons left! The mint is just right, not to harsh! If mint isn't your thing, you can choose from one of the 6 other "flavors" they sell. Good to know fact: EOS lip balms are 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free!

I have purchased several EOS balms and these opinions are 100% my own!

Go Green!

It's that time of year again, St. Patrick's Day! Time to hustle to your closet and pull out a green shirt and slap on some fun & festive makeup! Green shadow works well with so many skin tones that I just had to share a few of my favorite shades of green with you! I tried to pick some that were on the cheaper end in case you don't think you will use it too often (but you really should)

NYX Shadow in Kiwi

NYX Pearl Mania in Lime

Wet N' Wild Cream Shadow in Envy

Don't forget to raid your Coastal Scents & BH Cosmetics palettes for some wonderful shades of green!

Have fun playing with color and have a wonderful & safe St. Patty's Day ;)

Kiss Nail Dress

How cute are these Kiss Nail dresses!! I have bypassed these for awhile thinking they really wouldn't last long or they wouldn't fit my nails, but I was so wrong! My first pack I got was leopard print (so sexy) and I put them on in less than 5 minutes! I found the perfect sizes for each nail and they were so easy to apply. I even used some on my toes! The pack comes with 28 stickers in all sizes (including toes) and you can use the extras to make cool designs if you want. The pack says they last up to 10 days, these lasted on me for 8 days and honestly I probably could have gone the whole 10 days. I took them off only because I got another set (pictured above) that I wanted to try. These run about $6.99 and come in 18 different styles. You can find these at Wal-mart, CVS and Walgreens by the nail polish. I think the price is great, especially compared to the Sally Hansen brand at $9.99! I think these are just a great way to add some sass to your manicure ;)

I received my first set (leopard print) in my Influenster Love Vox Box but my opinions are 100% my own!

Soap & Glory Hand Food

We are starting to get out of the dry hand season (winter) but I really wanted to give this product a shout-out/review! I also wanted to really test it out so that is why I am just now getting to it. I had heard FleurDeForce rave about this in the past so while at Sephora, I grabbed a tube (1.69 fl oz) before checking-out. I have super dry skin and it only gets worse in the winter so I really put this stuff to the test! The first thing you notice is the light scent, somewhat floral but not too much! The hand cream has a nice thick texture but melts in to your skin pretty quickly. Do I think it is the very best hand cream out? Not really, but I do like it. I like the small size for my purse and the light smell.

This product was purchased with my own money and my opinions are 100% my own!

Venus & Olay Razor

I have been a Daisy razor girl since I started shaving...way too many years ago to even say ;)
I have tried the newest razors and always found they didn't really live up to all the hype! This has kept me pretty loyal to Daisy until a week ago when I received the Venus & Olay razor by Gillette in my Influenster Love Vox Box. I was going out the next night with my girls and my legs hadn't seen a razor since before Christmas! Yeah I should probably be ashamed about that but honestly shaving can be such a pain! You know what I mean! So I figured I would really put it to the test on my Sasquatch legs ;) I did read the directions and one the first things I got a little excited about was that I wouldn't need any shaving cream! After a moment of celebration I remembered my previous razor experiences and came back down to reality. I took a nice long shower and at the end I took out my Venus razor, wet the Olay moisture bars and what do ya know, they weren't lying about not needing shaving cream. I went to work on my legs (nice grip handle too) and by the time I was done I was won over! Yay, Venus actually made a razor that lives up to its claims! WTG! The cartridges are a little on the pricey side (14.99-19.49 for 3) but you don't need any shaving cream so it kinda balances out. These will be available March 15th in stores nationwide so go check it out!

I received my Venus & Olay Razor free from Influenster Vox Box but all opinions are 100% my own!

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2

I have loved my original Naked palette for a while now and honestly I wasn't going to get the 2nd palette. I, like a lot of others wondered how it could even compete with the awesomeness that was the original. Now don't get me wrong, I was super interested in what people had to say about it and couldn't wait to see how similar/not similar the colors were. I started stalking YouTube when it debuted and I thought at first the colors were super similar and decided I made a smart choice by not running out and buying the $50 palette. Then all my favorite beauty girls kept raving about it and saying how much they actually preferred this palette over the original...wha?? How could that be? I had to check it out at Sephora and test the colors myself. Well I did and wow...they were right...this palette is awesome! The palette comes with a mini Naked lip gloss (nice minty flavor, very subtle color) and a dual ended brush (crease & flat shadow). For me and my skin tone I say this palette works better and I find myself turning to it even more than I did the original. The colors are somewhat similar but not really if that makes sense. I would say this is worth the money even if you have the original, if you don't have the original I would honestly pick this up first.

Truvía® natural sweetener Product Review

Not beauty related but I know a lot of you use sugar alternatives so I wanted to share my opinion!

I am mostly a Splenda girl but I got the chance to test some Truvia recently and I must say I am loving it! I tested some packets out in my Greek yogurt & granola and it was really nice, no funky aftertaste which I am very picky about!! I also did a little research on Truvia to see how it compared with some of the other brands out there... What I found out was that Truvia is made from the Stevia plant and is pretty much the most natural sugar alternative out there! I also found out that 1 packet of Truvia is 2 times as sweet as 1 tsp of sugar :) Splenda does seem to work better in baking but I hear Truvia is working on that! So if you are looking for a natural sugar alternative and hate the nasty aftertaste of some on the market, Truvia should be the first thing you try! Check out the Truvia website for more info and recipes!

My Greek Yogurt & Granola Meal

6 oz Plain Greek Yogurt
1 packet Truvia
1/4 cup Bare Naked Original Granola (Use any granola you prefer)

I was provided a sample of Truvia by the Influenster VoxBox program but my opinions are 100% my own!
